Breathing Exercise

“Make your body as an iron”, “Make your body strong and confident” This proverbs were quoted our great poet Mahakavi Subramani Bharathi.. It is shown that we have followed these words, if a question is raised..

I expect that these proverbs were quoted by Mahakavi Bharathi at his 35 years of age and above. But he died at his early 37 years of age. The reason is that he got diseased because of not concentrating on his body. At the time of his death he must have thought that what’s the use whether we learnt thousands of studies, whether we earned millions of money, whether we had great talents, if our body gets weakened, all the all our special properties, Talents and Knowledge will be useless. By thinking this issue, he might have said these quotes at the time of his death.

But we didn’t take care of the quotes he said with internal feel. Still our 110 crores of Indian people doesn’t that what is human body? And How to protect ourselves from dangerous diseases?. They practice ‘Piraanayaamam’ (a breathing exercise in yoga) but without knowing about this they simply inhale through a nostril and exhale through another nostril and discontinue the exercise when they feel bored of it.



        


But people of china, Japan and Korea studied the breathing exercise from us and improved that into good forms and lessons thereby made their body confident thereby protected themselves from dangerous diseases thereby protected their future generations and playing a very good role as a good and useful citizen for the development of their home and country.

But here in India, every citizen searches for education and money without caring about their body and when they earn money with their hard work, there are many of them still without experiencing happiness with the thing earned.

The immediate need for the people of India is the lessons which protect their body from dangerous diseases especially breathing Exercise. And these exercises must taught to the children at the primary level. We can develop over America, Japan, and China etc at 2020 if we take serious steps. If not we all will be diseased patients at end of 2020 as warned by World Health Organization.

Proper breathing exercise is abundantly available in Indian Martial Arts, there are basic techniques and timing in breathing exercises, which slowly generates the power and potential to protect ourselves from dangerous diseases. There are advanced breathing exercises too which turns man into super human.

It is advised that we must breathe only 15 times a minute. Above this 15 times count it indicates that our body is ready to get diseased. Breathing 15 times will keep ourselves away from diseases and with constant practice we must reduce it to feel the full benefits of breathing exercise.

These breathing exercises were found by our ancestors before 2000 years. This gets transformed into lessons (Katas) in Japanese Karate and Kung fu & Wushu of China etc. Indian Martial Arts still teaches us these exercises in forms of “strengthening physique like Iron” as insisted by poet Mahakavi Subramani Bharathi.

The one who taste the juice of breathing exercise through Indian Martial Arts can see heaven here itself otherwise this earth would be a living hell.
