The Martial Arts Kalla Kambu means cheating stick and it is one of the ancient Martial Arts of Tamil Nadu in India. The name only derives Cheating but the practice is to develop mans Observation Knowledge. By developing this knowledge, one can able to improve his/her Life states. It is confirmed that victory is ours people in the surroundings. If we make a complete research on our lifestyle of our Indians, they are observing one another and that is the main obstacle for the development of their lives. The reason why they are not observing is, our Indians contains Ego, Jealousness, Unawareness, Customs and Superstitions. To get relief from this situation, they must develop their Observation knowledge day-by-day.

That’s why our ancestors, invented a subdivision Kalla Kambu from the main art Silambam. Because of the name Cheating stick our people didn’t practice this art, fearing that the practice of this art will give us a cheating ability. The one who practiced this art didn’t make a good impression on others. Instead of the name Cheating stick if our ancestors named this art as Observation development practice our people would have practiced this art. Therefore, I request your practice this art regularly.

This art was transformed as SHIAI in the Japanese art Karate. By this Japanese people developed their observation knowledge and made themselves as a good citizen for their home and nation. Kalla Kambu also has a subdivision called Kilavan Kambu (Old mans stick). This art was transformed as Drunken stick and practice that art and made themselves as a good citizen for their Home and nation. It is very sad to say that the other people didn’t understand this concept.
